I find that the option of translate to klingon is a fine geek detail. However, I realiced that you people have almost all the work done for including interlingua inside Microsoft translator. I mean, you have already included all the control languages of interlingua (English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian) and Interlingua grammar is very close to English one.

Keeping also in mind that there are a good number of Interlingua thesaurus ready for use, I believe that the inclusión of Interlingua in Microsoft Translator would be quite quick and relativelly cheap, since a lot of work is already done. Although public interest in auxiliary languages is not very high, an automatic translation tool to interlingua would vastly improve its usage and learning, since using only Microsoft Translator would be more than enough for learning Interlingua to any person who is a speaker of any of the control languages (including also Russian and German).

The main advantage of Interlingua is that it is immediatly understandable for any speaker of latin languages, and very, very easy to understand for an English speaker, since grammar is almost equivalent and there are a lot of similar words in English and Interlingua. Io crede que iste phrase es facile de comprender pro un parlante de Inglese, per exemplo.

Therefore, I would like to know if you have any plans of including interlingua in Microsoft translator. If it is not the case, I would like to encourage you to explore this interesting possibility, since it could produce very interesting results.
