A question about free subscription

Hi, I am new here, I'm using the free Microsoft Translator (2million characters / month) plan.

I was wondering what happens if I run out of my allowed limit, i.e. 2 million characters in one month. Will all the requests return an error or will I be automatically upgraded to the next available plan?

I want to know this before integrating this into something that I am working on.
